There is a slight shift in Inductance, Resistance, and the Resonant Peak in the relative models. this is the best hum buckler i have i wouldn't have bought anything else if i would have found this one first the sound is insane!!! I paid about 90 bucks for this thing at my local music shop and it was worth every penny. Outside of that, the only real options are the colors of black , cream, parchment, and white. I have the traditonal white pickup covers on my other two single coils, but i decided to go with the black one, to give it a custom look, and it looks great! The three of them together make it look like I got my stat from the junk yard because they don't match, but who the hell cares? The straight sides makes it a snap to fit in the smaller routes commonly found on Charvel and Jackson guitars? I wired this in in the bridge with a SC in the middle position, so when I use them both together it's like I'm playing a different guitar. I have owned for about 6 months now, and when go 'on the road', i don't use anything bu the guiar with this pickup in it. Works equally well with maple and rosewood fingerboards.
