I've gone back and forth between sunscreens, and I always seem to come back to this one. I'm very fair and also pregnant, so I need a mineral sunscreen with good protection. I have bought several for gifts for my young adult girls but they complain about the container too. The cast disappears super quickly when you rub it in (in seconds, not minutes), it feels hydrating and stays ever so slightly tacky (which I love because it doesn't feel like my skin is tightening and acts as a primer for makeup), and doesn't irritate my sensitive eyes and skins (I can only use mineral sunscreens around my eyes because they are so sensitive). Shake well before use. It's not irritating to my sensitive skin so that's good. It also had a much more matte finish which means if there was a cast, it was more translucent than the dewy finish of Biossance. I have medium tanned skin so it was very apparent. I have been on the hunt for a mineral sunscreen with 20% zinc that was safe for sensitive skin, was free from irritants, and wouldn't completely dry out my eczema-prone skin but also stay on my face without sweating off in the sun. The one exception is zinc oxide (the white stuff lifeguards put on their nose) as it is mineral based. Though I wish it also came in a travel size, overall it does the job and I haven't had any skin reactions to using it. It got all over my swimsuit and wouldn't wash out. I NEVER break out unless there's a combo of factors - sweating, on my period, dirty makeup sponges, touching my face during the day etc. Wears nicely under makeup. So many of them give the dreaded "white cast" but this one does not! Sun Protection Measures: Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging.
